About Gaminute

Gaminute is a solo, evenings-and-weekends Android game lab operated from the Czech Republic (EU). These Terms govern your use of our website and participation in the “Lab”. By accessing the site or joining the Lab (e.g., via Patreon), you agree to these Terms.

Using this site

• You may browse the site for your personal, non-commercial use.
• We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the site without notice.
• You agree not to misuse the site (no scraping, scanning, disrupting, or attempting to gain unauthorised access).

Lab membership & payments

• Memberships are processed by Patreon. Your purchase, billing, and cancellation are governed by Patreon’s terms and policies. We don’t store your payment details.
• Cancellation: You can cancel your membership anytime in your Patreon account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
• Access after cancellation: When your paid period ends, access to Lab benefits (Discord, early builds, Dev Notes) stops.
• Refunds: Where applicable, refunds are handled according to Patreon’s rules. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for partial months.

Early builds, APKs, and feedback

• Early builds are experimental and provided “as is”. They may crash or change rapidly.
• Do not redistribute or upload our test APKs, assets, or internal notes. They are for Lab members only.
• When you share feedback, ideas, or bug reports (Discord/email/playtests), you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, modify, and incorporate that feedback. You retain ownership of your feedback. We may credit you at our discretion (e.g., helpful bug report credits).

Intellectual property

• All site content, game assets, logos, and trademarks are owned by Gaminute (or our licensors). Android™ is a trademark of Google LLC.
• Except where expressly allowed, you may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, or create derivative works from our content or builds.

Community rules

• Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, or illegal content.
• Follow the rules of any third-party service we use (e.g., Discord).
• Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Lab (including Discord) for behaviour that violates these Terms or harms the community. In such cases, we may cancel access without refund where permitted by Patreon’s policies.

Age requirement

You must be at least 15 years old to join the Lab or use services that require an account (Discord, Patreon). If you are under 15, please ask a parent/guardian to supervise and contact us on your behalf.

Third-party services

We link to or use third-party services such as Patreon, Discord, Google Play, and font CDNs. We’re not responsible for their content or policies. Your use of those services is subject to their terms.

Project nature, availability & force majeure

Gaminute is a solo, part-time project. We make reasonable efforts to deliver Lab benefits, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or a fixed posting cadence. We will not be liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (e.g., illness, outages, third-party platform issues). If the Lab becomes inactive for an extended period, we will inform members and adjust, pause, or otherwise address memberships in line with Patreon’s capabilities and policies.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

• The site and early builds are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gaminute will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the site or early builds.
• Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (e.g., for wilful misconduct).

Consumer rights

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA/UK, you retain any mandatory rights under your local law. These Terms apply only to the extent permitted by those laws.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Courts in the Czech Republic will have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may allow you to bring claims in your country of residence.

Changes

We may update these Terms as our services evolve. We will post changes on this page and refresh the “Last updated” date.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
